The continent has been the solace of many crisis-stricken countries. Some turn to the Black Continent to fill the lack of supply on different resources, while other come for business purposes. They are starting businesses inside the region because they saw opportunities in spite of the blow by the global financial crisis. The main goal of every partnership done by many countries with Africa is trade and investment. They believe that the world’s second largest continent can uplift and sustain them once another storm on global economies hit the earth.

From the 3rd Annual Africa Trade and Investment Conference happened last March 2009 in Cape Town, South Africa, a good news was reiterated. Attended by the senior decision-makers of the trade and export industry, Africa’s name was praised again. The region’s continuous development summed up the conference.

Based on the meeting, Africa has been the exact venue to do high-margin trade finance business. And for confident domestic African businesses, now is the time to seize all the fruitful opportunities. This is because of the volatile commodity prices and international businesses busy managing their balance sheets. Multinational companies are not the only one who has the power to do business in the continent. In fact, small businesses can prosper more because of the outgrowing and eager demands of the people.

Going back to international trade and investments, Africa projected a consistent year-on-year growth in average GDP. The continent represents the final frontier for companies that have trusts on them. It is indeed advisable to invest in Africa if you are in search of long term gains. There are many areas where profit is just standing on a close distance. There is the agriculture, infrastructure, oil and mining industry, education and the most juicy of all, telecommunications and technology area. Other than that, you will have the confidence to deal with Africa because of an improved banking system. The return to traditional banking like trade, structured commodity and export finance mean that deals are more bankable compared before. You know you won’t run out of financial assistance with all the great providers ready to help you.

Trade and investment is the key to the future of Africa. But we can also say that Africa is playing a big part on the future of the rest of the world. Evident proof that having an affair with the continent is the growth happening to China. There can be risks, but they are just all part of the investment market. Africa has a lot to offer, and that includes global progress.

Investments In Africa that Create Jobs and Opportunities For Africans by audrina22

Development in Africa greatly relies on the organizational development to be led by the leaders. Other factors affecting it were the trades and aids. Aids (not the disease) has been very active in Africa ever since. For a very long time, it was the major source of living among a greater number of Africans. But now, they are claiming that they do not need much aid, what they need are opportunities for a sustainable development. And this one is really true. Helps and donations from other nations can only do a short-lived benefit. Worse is, it makes Africans lazy and neglectful. They are now more progressive when it comes to positive transformation, and the only pathway to it is to learn to bring food on their plates by their own. What will make this happen are investments that create jobs for skilled people.

They are also skillful and knowledgeable when it comes to agricultural business for they are the ones who cultivated their land. Education among Africans is also showing a tremendous development with more women being prioritized. Not too long, they will be very useful on many industries.

Investments in Africa shouldn’t just be aiming for a self growth. The benefit must be mutual between investors and the region. It is more likely to prosper if it has a concern for Africans calling out for sustainable growth. It has a greater chance to do good in the African market if it is sympathetic to the need of the people. Not only by the product but also with the nature and selfless aim of the business.
